God's Word is so perfect to direct us to look to Him..."Thou wilt keep Him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on Thee: because He trusteth in Thee"...loved the poem also, thanks so much for sharing.

Loved the little verse in the post. It is when we take our eyes off of Jesus and look around us that we falter because of this evil world. The verse in John was the one the Lord gave me before the hurricane. He surely gave me His peace duringand after the storm. Thanks for sharing this. Hugs my friend.

His peace is with us a we learn to be content like Paul in all circumstances. It isn't easy but it is reassuring that God is always with us and in control of everything.

I have felt that peace rush over me many times when I have called out to God, there has been times when I felt he was farther away, but I knew he was there and would guide me through the storm of life.
