Never man spake like this man. John 7:46
Thou art fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into thy lips: therefore God hath blessed thee for ever. Psa. 45:2
The Lord GOD hath given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary. Isa. 50:4
His mouth is most sweet: yea, he is altogether lovely. This is my beloved, and this is my friend. Song 5:16
All bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words which proceeded out of his mouth. Luke 4:22
He taught them as one having authority, and not as the scribes. Matt. 7:29
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. Col. 3:16
The sword of the Spirit ... is the word of God. Eph. 6:17
The word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword. Heb. 4:12
The weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds; casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ. II Cor. 10:4-5
Philippians 2:5-8
Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:
But made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
And being found in fashion as a man, He humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.
.. took upon Himself the form of a servant.
Why I am here? Firstly to serve the Lord of glory, secondly to glorify His Name by this service.
May we likewise humble ourselves as Christ did, be obedient to His Word, and "by love serve one another ".
A good prayer to pray that we will walk thus, God helping us.

Wonderful scriptures today Shaz. I needed to read them, especially one or two of them. I have been a bit down lately and feeling sorry for myself. And just what do I have to feel sorry about? Absolutely nothing. Nothing at all. I do believe it is Satan working at me and I'm determined to NOT give him an inch of myself. Thank you for sharing with us today.
Blessings,
Betsy
How wonderful to meditate on how the scriptures describe Jesus - so beautiful.
Thank you Shaz

I love these scriptures, so uplifting and encouraging! I am currently going through a daily reading of Proverbs about how our words affect us and others, so this is a timely post! Merci bien! Betsy, we are lifting you up in prayer, be encouraged, be at peace.
