The Right way - The Word Only

He found [Jacob] in a desert land,
and in the waste howling wilderness;
He led him about,
He instructed him, He kept him as the apple of his eye.
As an eagle stirreth up her nest, fluttereth over her young,
spreadeth abroad her wings,
taketh them, beareth them on her wings:
so the LORD alone did lead him. Deut. 32:10-12
Psalm 107:1-7
 O give thanks unto the Lord , for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.
Let the redeemed of the Lord say so , whom he hath redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
Then they cried unto the Lord in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

Even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you:
I have made, and I will bear;
even I will carry, and will deliver you. Isa. 46:4

Correct me do Sis, but this passage follows the dispersion from Babel? In this way God provided for Israel yet it was Israel's seemingly determination to forget what God has done for them and do their own thing. How great is our God's love for us that He cares for us, even when we are rebellious, and will bring us back to Himself. I noticed that spellchecker changed Gray to hoar in the quote from Isaiah. Thank you for this passage, it is good to reflect on the Word of God and receive correction and teaching! xx

Hi Anne. Thanks for your comment. In KJV from which I've quoted it is hoar hairs.
Isaiah 46:4 KJV
And even to your old age I am he; and even to hoar hairs will I carry you : I have made, and I will bear; even I will carry, and will deliver you.
I'm not sure which passage you think is after Babel dispersion?
It was in Genesis 11... not Deuternonmy or Psalms?
Genesis 11:9 KJV
Therefore is the name of it called Babel; because the Lord did there confound the language of all the earth: and from thence did the Lord scatter them abroad upon the face of all the earth.
These verses were taken from a Daily Selection in Our Daily Light (it's where I've sourced the Word Only posts) and I was blessed by them.. as I have been many times before.
Lord bless dear sis. X

Amen, my dear sister! It is so good to know that no matter where we are, no matter what we have done, if we turn to our Lord, He will lift us up and carry us. He is so ever faithful and loving to us, His children. My greatest wish is to be deserving of that love and favor He shows to us. Thank you for this post dear Shaz. It does indeed encourage me, even in these dark days in the world.
Blessings always, Betsy

All God asked of us is to call on him and so many times we decide to handle things on our own, to take it upon ourselves to solve things when all God wants is us to ask him to be with us in all we do. Thankfully he is a forgiving God!
