Every moment of every day it is good, VERY good to remind ourselves of this simple fact.
but that!
Faith in the Living God is the key to this upward look as this Daily Light selection shares.

The measure of faith. Rom. 12:3
Him that is weak in the faith. Rom. 14:1
Strong in faith, giving glory to God. Rom. 4:20
O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt? Matt. 14:31

That your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.

"Fear looks back.
Worry looks around.
Faith looks up."
Some put their faith in others, others put their faith in themselves..
... BUT FAITH only works and is blessed if it's the El Shaddai, the LORD God Almighty.
Let us settle, rest, trust under His wings, till these troubles be past!
Faith is measured, as very first verse states, there is more there for the asking, that's why the disciples prayed,
"Lord, Increase our Faith!"

(Only 50 sec.)
God is still on the throne... and we are the ones who've lost focus and fail... not Him.
This man surely tells it like it is!
We too often do not believe God!
We need more preachers like him... please Lord have mercy upon us - personally, in our families, in our state, in our nation and in our world.
WE NEED YOU, LORD!
By Helen Mallicoat.
(Quote given me by a dear sister in Christ)
Exodus 3:14
And God said unto Moses,
I AM THAT I AM:
and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel,
I AM hath sent me unto you.
Forgive us, O Lord God, we fall so far short in our faith, help us to believe in faith, send Thy Mercy please keep us faithful in faith in Thee alone.. but also in prayer for so many and for so much, in Jesus' name. Amen.

May God have mercy and God bless America.
The current events affect us all whether we live there or not.
Especially
as Christians it will affect much, and so I’m praying for Israel, and
the unborn, the businesses of USA, all of whom President Trump has
protected thus far.
Where the future goes, only God knows. And in God we trust.
Thank you especially if you take the time to leave a comment, that’s deeply appreciated. So very much.
Praying God’s watch-care upon you and all you love - wherever you maybe.
“Our Heavenly Father knoweth.”
“He careth for you.”
Prayer Hugs, 🙏🤗❤️

Loving your presentation of scripture Shaz, and your obvious heart for the Lord that shines in this post.
Yes we (mankind) are so often slack in our following of the Lord - truly we need a deeper appreciation of the cost of the cross, and a far deeper commitment to obediently following Him. This can only come out of a disciplined life of seeking the face of God and sitting in His presence.
Stay safe
Blessings
Maxine
Yes, Shaz, we must keep looking up, not back nor around. God is faithful, and we must completely trust in Him to guide us in all we think, say and do. Praying with you!
Blessings!
Amen and again I say AMEN! "O let my trembling soul be still, And wait Thy wise, Thy holy will! I cannot, Lord, Thy purpose see, Yet all is well since ruled by Thee. John Bowring, 1792–1872"
Yes, I agree! Shaz, I love all the precious Scripture passages that especially encourage me these hard days I'm enduring. But Christ is my Strength and Refuge in this hard time, and He is EVER with me...and us! Amen, precious sis! You are so dear to write these and share them with us! Love you and praying for you! Hugs and love! xoxo
Shaz, I live in the United States and I’m always so touched, humbled and encouraged that you are standing with us and interceding for us during our political situation. I wanted to share a YouTube link that I think will bless you. The link will take you to a short message and prayer time led by Dutch Sheets … in this message, he thanks all our international friends who are joining with us in prayer as we trust the Lord during this crisis.

Thank you so much, Shaz, for sharing what the Lord places on your heart. May His blessings be poured out on you and your nation.
Wonderful post dear Sis! We so need to trust in the Lord, only the Lord. He is the one to trust, He is the one who is in control. Often times we will fail to do this, but then (at least myself) realize that The Lord God is the one who is in control, not me, not other men. I know He has this pandemic in His hands, giving the knowledge to men for help eradicate this virus. He is also in charge of this mess the American's are having in our political world. I trust in Him and will continue to, although sometimes he has to remind me of that! Thank you sweet Sis for your beautiful Christmas card and newsletter. I so enjoyed seeing your family and reading about your year. I pray you are doing better with your heart issues. You have such a huge heart and I want it work well. Take care of yourself and rest when you need too. I think I am finally coming out of my fatigue for which I am grateful. I wasn't worth a hill of beans! Love, hugs and blessings, Brenda
Thank you so much for continuing to pray for us in America. We desperately need it. The Scriptures you shared are so wonderful. There are so many rumors of uprisings over the next few days, and it is so unsettling. I am keeping my eyes on Jesus and clinging to Him for peace. It has been a long, hard fight, and we have done all we could. Now it is in His hands. May He bless you for your faithfulness to stand by us from afar.
I enjoyed reading this post. It was something I need to read for sure! I thank you for praying for USA. Not sure what is going to happen these next few weeks. I've read that there may be a lockdown for two weeks. I decided to get my hair trimmed today in case hair salons are closed like they were for 2 months last years when the virus hit. I hope the restaurants open up for indoor seating soon. At one point they were open and social distanced tables for a few months. Then closed except for curbside pickup or drive thru now. That's better than them being closed. Some have tents outdoors with heaters in them and there is air ways open as well. But it's chilly in afternoon as it is winter and 45 degrees isn't that warm! We are going to make it through another time of uncertainty and be blessed by God daily! I appreicate scriptures you shared! God bless and stay safe and healthy~Becky X------X @:'}
"Great is Thy faithfulness, Oh God my Father. There is no shadow of turning from Thee. Thou changest not, Thy compassions they fail not. As Thou has been, Thou forever wilt be. Great is Thy faithfulness, Great is Thy faithfulness. Morning by Morning new mercies I see. All I have needed Thy hand has provided. Great is Thy faithfulness, oh Lord to me."
How I love knowing of God's faithfulness to me, to us. Thank you for all of these words encouraging each one of us who believes He is always with us, loving us.
Thank you for your unfailing love and prayers for our country. Please don't stop praying, especially for the Christians. I fear the persecution will begin, especially with Kamala Harris. I also fear that she could become our President and have unlimited power since the senate and congress are mostly democrat controlled.
May God have mercy on us all.
Blessings and love,
Betsy
