Measure of Grace with Faith

A portion of scripture from Daily Light really spoke to me.. truly we are in everything enriched… by Him!
God’s grace is SO VERY NEEDFUL, especially TODAY.πŸ™πŸ˜’πŸ™❤️

In everything ye are enriched by him. 1 Cor. 1:5

When we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. Rom. 5:6

He that spared not his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how shall he not with him also freely give us all things? Rom. 8:32

In him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily. And ye are complete in him, which is the head of all principality and power. Col. 2:9, 10

Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: he that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. John 15:4, 5

Unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Eph. 4:7

If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. John 15:7

Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom. Col. 3:16

I think most of us forget or do not live realising the reality of this verse: "Unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ. Eph. 4:7

"Every one .. given grace according to the measure.."

Grace is measured out, not in ounces or pounds, grams or kilos, but according to our faith!

Grace and faith are interlocked, and are measured. This is mentioned in more than one place..

Romans 12:3, 5, 6a

"For I say, through the grace given unto me, to every man that is among you, not to think of himself more highly than he ought to think; but to think soberly, according as God hath dealt to every man the measure of faith.

So we, being many, are one body in Christ, and every one members one of another.

Having then gifts differing according to the grace that is given to us,..."

So faith grace are measured out, sufficient for us..  It is there to be appropriated, or taken and used as Paul did in 2 Cor 12.

Here Paul exclaimed with real conviction as one who had tested this:

"My grace is sufficient for thee, My strength is made perfect in weakness.."

"When I am weak then I am strong.."

GOD's grace is sufficient  ALL SUFFICIENT, for our need as we appropriate it, take it, use it … believing in faith, as we did with the gift of salvation.  Our faith maybe weak.. but as  Paul said THEN we are strong.

Hymn here if not showing.

REJOICE, dear ones. πŸ˜ƒ How blessed!

Rich in measure.   May we have cause to remember this richness in Christ Jesus our Saviour and LORD.

No matter what is taken from us in this life, the riches we have through faith in our LORD Jesus Christ are ours for all eternity…

Lord knows, He cares, He sees our every cry heartache and pain amd feels with us in it..

No-one cares for me like Jesus!

Hardship of this life is but a moment! We are not exactly stoned for our faith, however it does hurt the body when one parts hurt .. πŸ™πŸ˜’πŸ™

By God’s grace, we look to the ETERNAL, unseen, believing with eyes of FAITH

Perhaps separated, not allowed to attend God’s house together in the physical at the moment - we are always as ONE in Christ in the spiritual realm!

Dear ones, we ARE so incredibly blessed. It will be worth it all when we see Jesus.

May God help us to walk in true His light today, no matter how the storm clouds may gather around us.

He will carry us through. How this cheers my heart! 😍❤️πŸ™

And another cheering thought… perhaps He may come today?!

For as Jesus Himself said, only the Father knows the hour of His coming, not even His Son on earth knew it! “Be ye also ready, for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of Man cometh.” (Matt. 24:32-46)

Beautiful, very beautiful word of God, let us fix our heart upon it.

TODAY appropriating our loving Father’s grace in full measure by faith.

Thanks to all who pop across to read this blog and Thank YOU, too if you’re able to leave some love and encouragement.

I shudder to think where we would be without God's all-encompassing gift of grace. We can't earn it, we don't deserve it, and yet He makes it available through our faith in Him.
Blessings, Shaz!

'No-one cares for me like Jesus' sums up your message of encouragement and comfort. I remember this little statement about the difference between mercy and grace. Mercy is God not giving us what we deserve; grace is God giving us what we don't deserve.

Thank you Shaz for this insightful post - I really appreciated it. We don't often enough think of grace and faith being interlinked. Although we are down to Level 2 again after a snap lockdown, we are still not going to be having services. Partly due to the age and frailty of some of our congregation - and the fact that when we are wearing masks, we cannot sing!!
Stay safe

No one ever cared for me like Jesus! He is my rock. Especially in the world we are living in right now. Did you hear about the church in Kabul that was martyred last week as they were singing praises and on the phone with a fellow believer in the US. Gunshots were heard and then silence as the singing stopped. Men, women and children were all killed for their love of the Lord. I hope I will be as brave as my time may come.
Thank you for your encouragement Shaz. I am ever grateful for your posts and the scripture you include.
Blessings,
Betsy

I can imagine life here on earth without God's grace, he loves us unconditionally, he forgives us, his gifts are always with us! He really makes it simple to love him as well. But some still chose not to and not to listen to his word. I for one, could not live this life without the Lord, our savoir. A beautiful post and very thought provoking Sis. Thank you! Love and blessings, prayers to you and those you love, Brenda

Sorry I've been slow at commenting! I seen your post in my inbox the first time, then forgot to get on here to comment. Since then I've had lots of things keeping me busy and preoccupied. This post is a blessing. Learning so much about faith and God's grace in the recent years of trials in my life, and these are comforting reminders. Thank you for sharing this!
