The Word Only - Consider How Great Things!

It’s a time in 2020 in which if we looked only at the outward appearance we could be very disappointed and discouraged.
Yet in ALL THESE THINGS
THERE is our wonderful God.
He sees what we cannot.
He sees the eternal, our finite limited mind only sees the here and now.
“Faith is the substance
of things hoped for,
The evidence of things NOT seen!”
Heb 11:1
“We walk by faith not by sight.”
Some verses from Daily Light which really cheered my heart.
*****
Consider how great things He hath done for you. I Sam. 12:24

Thou shalt remember all the way which the Lord thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no. Thou shalt also consider in thine heart, that as a man chastenth his son, so the Lord thy God chasteneth thee. Deut. 8:25

I know, O LORD, that thy judgments are right, and that thou in faithfulness hast afflicted me. It is good for me that I have been afflicted; that I might learn thy statutes. Before I was afflicted I went astray: but now have I kept thy word. Psa. 119:757167

The LORD hath chastened me sore: but he hath not given me over unto death. Psa. 118:18

He hath not dealt with us after our sins, nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
For as the heaven is high above the earth so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
He knoweth our frame. He remembereth that we are dust. Psa. 103:10,11,14

Thoughts of peace... NOT of of evil,
to give an expected end.
Not my expectations, but God's!

God works ALL together for good,
even if we can’t see it now.
So let us look up in faith, resting in God's timezone for working things out, let us be like David, who when EVERYTHING was against him, and they were ready to stone him... he encouraged himself in the LORD!
 1 Samuel 30:6
And David was greatly distressed; for the people spake of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the Lord his God.
It's curious, it's a fortnight and more since my last post where I implored you to pray for America.
And so the battle goes on!
Let us keep praying for our countries, especially for the USA.
PRAY for right to be upheld, God's righteousness to be exalted, Satan's power be defeated, in Jesus' name. Amen.
Thank you especially if you take the time to leave a comment, that’s deeply appreciated.
So very much.
Praying God’s watch care upon you and all you love - wherever you maybe.
“Our Heavenly Father knoweth.”
“He careth for you.”

  2. I so loved these words of encouragement from scripture you have shared here, Shaz, and boy, did I need them! Yes, things are beginning to look up for our president and the election outcome, but we can't stop praying. May God reveal the acts of the wicked and bring His judgment to bear.
    Blessings!

  5. Amen Shaz! These are wonderful verses that bring such comfort and hope. It's so easy to get discouraged by the political positioning that's happening in our country. Even the out and out lies and slandering by the media. Thank you for praying for the USA my dear sister. We need it desperately.
    Blessings,
    Betsy
