The Word Only - He is Able

March 8
MORNING
Thou hast cast all my sins behind thy back. Isa. 38:17

Who is a God like unto thee, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression of the remnant of his heritage? he retaineth not his anger for ever, because he delighteth in mercy. He will turn again, he will have compassion Upon us; he will subdue our iniquities; and thou wilt cast all their sins into the depths of the sea. Micah 7:18, 19

For a small moment have I forsaken thee; but with great mercies will I gather thee. In a little wrath I hid my face from thee for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on thee, saith the LORD thy Redeemer. Isa. 54:7, 8

I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more. Jer. 31:34

Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputeth not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile. Psa. 32:1, 2

The blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin. I John 1:7

EVENING

I know whom I have believed, and am persuaded that he is able. II Tim. 1:12

Able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think. Eph. 3:20

Able to make all grace abound toward you; that ye, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work. II Cor. 9:8
Able to succour them that are tempted. Heb. 2:18

Able ... to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. Heb. 7:25
God is good and I pray these beautiful words bless you. If it blesses you please bless me in return in a comment.
Prayer hugs Shaz in Oz. X

Beautiful posting, praise the Lord!
Watching that little video with the children singing brings such joy.
Those children's songs have such great power in the simplest ways. I will often times go about my day singing those simple songs because they teach in a great way.

Thank you for Sharing your beauty and the beauty of God with us ♡

Such beautiful Scriptures that are so precious to my heart! And, that song! I heard that son when I was a little girl and I don't think I have heard it since. I think it was on the Uncle Charlie children's broadcast that I used to listen to every Saturday morning! Oh, I looked forward to that, and I haven't thought of it in years! Wow! This took me down memory lane and really comforted my heart tonight. Thank you so much for posting! God bless you, my friend.

As I stated in my previous comment, the song in your post got me to thinking about Uncle Charlie's broadcast, and when I went back to listen to the song a second time, I saw the name, "Children's Bible Hour" at the beginning of the video, and I remembered that this is indeed the same broadcast! So I went online to see if they are still doing the Children's Bible Hour, and imagine my surprise when I saw that Uncle Charlie just died on February 22, 2019!! I sat here and cried thinking of the way he and his broadcast touched my life for so many years as I was growing up and how he will never know how God used him to minister to me through some rough times. They have changed the name to Keys for Kids Ministries, but I am so thankful they are continuing on and still reaching out to kids. See, you just never know why God lays something upon your heart to post online or why He prompts you to do something or whose life you will touch through your obedience. Sometimes, we think, oh, it is just a blog post, and it isn't really reaching anyone, but God is working in ways we cannot see! I am SO thankful you posted this. It encouraged me more than I could ever say! I have been missing my parents and thinking back on my childhood, and this just really, really comforted my heart. Thank you.

His mercies are awesome, even when I feel that I shouldn't be forgiven for my sins, he tells me that I am special to him and he has forgiven and will give me strength to do what he asks of me. When we feel unable we know he is able!

Such lovely scriptures for me to read this morning my dear friend. I’m sorry it has taken me a few days to comment on your posts, but I took a short break away from the Internet for a few days. I felt it was much needed. I do thank you though for these beautiful verses to help quiet my soul this morning. Much love and blessings, Betsy
