This post comforted my heart so much tonight. I often think of my dear Mom's prayers and how it says in Revelation 14:13, "Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord from henceforth: Yea, saith the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them." I am so thankful for this reminder that their works do follow them! That gives me hope that all those prayers my dear Mom prayed for my husband, son, and me are still being heard by God and "following her" even though she is no longer here with us. I am fighting some hard battles and would surely appreciate your prayers. You are a blessing to me.
Cherylhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01891257905649460436noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22333998638207372.post-64192283024286588862022-11-29T15:25:40.392+11:002022-11-29T15:25:40.392+11:00Prayer is definitely powerful Shaz, and our prayer...Prayer is definitely powerful Shaz, and our prayers are not limited by time as we know it, as God is transcendent! I so believe in the power of prayer and even if it isn't answered the way we wanted them to be answer, they are always answered. We were both saved at the same age! I got saved at 12 years old too, although I had a relationship with the Lord, I hadn't been saved. Got saved, baptized in the river and haven't looked back. We had beach revivals and I love it. Then we moved back north and I missed my southern roots and church. Still close with the Lord, but haven't really found "my church" again. Although I belong to a church and enjoy hearing the word, it's Dwayne's church and not really mine if that makes any sense. Anyway, thank you for the inspiration with this post. I find my greatest comfort in reading the Psalms; I usually pray the Psalms back to the Lord as I'm reading them. I feel those are my most powerful prayers and they draw me so close to Him and give me strength and comfort. May our beautiful Savior continue to heal and strengthen you. I'll leave you with this thought: Song of Solomon 5:16 ".... He is altogether lovely...."RitaRhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00665065276671647926noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-22333998638207372.post-32191417626269037742022-11-28T08:01:14.425+11:002022-11-28T08:01:14.425+11:00I was so very moved and inspired by this post, Sha...I was so very moved and inspired by this post, Shaz. We cannot even begin to fathom the infinite power of prayer, but we can continue to pray in hope and faith, asking God for His mercy and wisdom.
Blessings!Martha Jane Orlandohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11620499267401065780noreply@blogger.com
