The Immediacy of Answered Prayer

There is a verse in scripture line upon line precept upon precept... its rote learning. Yes, rote learning is scripture based even if the world ignores it.

Isaiah 28:10 For precept must be upon precept, precept upon precept; line upon line, line upon line; here a little and there a little.

We Ignore God and His word at our own peril, God wants us to heed his Word and to “pray without ceasing”, as we grow in LORD, prayer becomes as natural as breathing and then we truly do pray without ceasing.

It has occurred to me that the prayer realm is separate from the earthly and heavenly realms (these two have subdivisions eg paradise, Sheol, place of dead, and hell lake of fire  (Luke 16) in OT and “heaven” - first and second heaven mentioned in Rev 21 and third in 2 Cor 12 so three in NT.

Heaven and earth created in Gen 1:1

In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

 Recreated in Rev 21

[1] And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.

Paul in 2 Cor 12:2 speaks of being caught up into the 3rd heaven, he was in prayer when this occurred and it has happened too in many places to various NT and OT saints.

I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knoweth;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

So there is much to contemplated upon, however another day perhaps.

Truly, LORD, this is the current situation… against hope we are believing in HOPE!

Today it often looks like TOTALLY like a lost situation in the prayer realm.. compare this to the occasion when the Angel, Gabriel said to Zacharias re birth of a son “.. the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for thy prayer is heard;”

Zacharias was literally dumbfounded at the angel’s words! He and his wife were aged, I suspect he’d obviously not prayed this prayer for a good while.

Yet this was our Eternal Father God in HIS immediacy of the reply.

God is not in our time zone, not in our limited human mind, the LORD of Glory can see what we cannot.

Let’s believe that we have a HEARING, prayer-answering God, .. against hope believing IN HOPE.. and “hope that is seen is NOT HOPE…. But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with PATIENCE wait for it. “ Rom. 8:24, 25

Dear loving Father, no matter how dumb it might seem to keep on praying, striving re so many things in prayer I’m going to keep on praying, pleading, interceding on these things, especially the two main aspects, salvation of all everywhere, and that Thy RIGHTEOUSNESS and TRUTH will prevail the world over.

For the wisdom of this world is foolishness with God. For it is written, He taketh the wise in their own craftiness. 1 Cor 3:19

And Faithful Father please work this moment, this day for Thy glory, in our nations, in all judicial ruling decrees legal processes to protect the little people from loosing theirlivelihoods! Mercy abounding please for Jesus sake, Amen.

Thanks for reading this post, and especially commenting. I’m sorry I don’t post very often these days, health is the main reason, also these posts take a long time to write, and for some reason the formatting on this post is all over the place.  I'm sorry. I do post a little more regularly on my craft blog.

May God richly bless your day, wherever you may be.🙏🤗

  1. Another wise post Shaz. Yes, I also believe that the spiritual realm is multi-dimensional, and for a believer in Christ, more real than this material world in which we live, temporarily.
Prayer is powerful, and we must listen as well as petition, and be persistent in our petitions also
    Blessings

  2. I’ve been reading Jeremiah this morning and was struck by his obedience in prayer, his understanding of God’s character, and how he used prayer to cast away self-doubt. My own prayer life needs much improvement, but I always feel more at peace after I’ve prayed, and I’m overjoyed when I see clear answers to prayer. I believe the LORD encourages us when we make the effort. Your post is full of wisdom, assurance, and sound teaching, mon amie. Thank you.

  3. So happy to see you here and blogging, Shaz! Yes, prayer is the most powerful tool God's children have. He does listen and we should always pray without ceasing. Feel better, dear friend!

  4. Yes there are many things to be praying for and we need not give up asking that things work out to the good for everyone, not just a few.

  5. I tell you, I can't even begin to express how much this post meant to me. On September 8, 2025, I wrote out a list of 13 pressing, heavy burdens on my heart. I have been interceding so earnestly and fervently, begging the Lord to help and move these mountains. I think often of Hezekiah and how he got the letter from Sennacherib delivered to him from Rabshakeh. He took that terrifying letter, and he laid it out before the Lord in the temple. I take my list, just like that letter, and I lay it out regularly before the Lord, pleading with Him concerning each thing on that list. One request has been answered, praise God, and it hit me this morning, as I was interceding in prayer that one of the other items is partially answered and can be merged into another item. So, 11 things I am continuing to pray such desperate prayers over and am trusting God to please come on the scene. They are impossibilities with me, but all things are possible with Him. I loved every word of this post so much and thank you so much for sharing it. It is your best ever, in my opinion and resonated with me on so many levels. God bless and heal you, dear sis.

    1. Dearest sis,
Wow, you know I rarely reply on my posts, but with your comment I had to reply.
Its so strange, when I finished writing this and published it on Sunday I was quite discouraged as to whether I'd done it justice.

My heart was full when I wrote the initial draft some time ago and it was somewhat disjointed so I prayed over it that the LORD would bind it together whole.

But even on publishing I was so discouraged by the formatting and the actual flow of the post.

Then you write that and it so picks up my heart.

I think prayer is one of the hardest things to write about, yet I firmly believe it must be written about as its the very most important thing we can do.

It saves our soul when we pray and trust Jesus, its truly the only reason I believe why I am here after nearly dying 7 times.

Re you comment.. To God be the Glory, great things He hath done.
Love in Him, praying with you over your Sennacherib list, "Faithful is He Who called you, Who will also do it. "
      Prayer hugs, 🙏🏻🤗

  6. Oh, dear sis! If you hadn't finished this and published it! I would have missed out on the bolstering of my courage to fight on in prayer! I was so weary and just told Kevin over the weekend that it feels like my prayers are not being heard, that things I am praying about are getting worse instead of better, etc. I have been so incredibly discouraged and felt like stopping. Then your post! Every single word hit me with such force. The way you word things reminds me so much of my dear Mom and the way she used to encourage me. It felt like hearing voices from the past who were trying to urge me to keep pressing on and keep praying until the answers come. I shudder to think how the enemy was trying to keep you from pushing through and finishing this and publishing it. God DID bind it together whole! He anointed your every word and used it to speak straight to my heart at a time I was so exhausted from the fight in prayer. You just never know how much your labor for the Lord matters. Different times, you come to my mind, and I think of you all those many miles away, and I am comforted, knowing you are there, holding fast, holding the line, living Godly and not changing or compromising. You will never know what this post meant to me and also your reply, especially this, "praying with you over your Sennacherib list, "Faithful is He Who called you, Who will also do it. " Oh, how I needed that! Thank you from the bottom of my heart, dear sis.
